There are benefits to graduating versus transferring. If a student graduates from a junior college and transfers to one of the eight universities in Mississippi, all their classes will transfer. If a student chooses to transfer instead of graduate, their classes are not guaranteed to be transferred.
“You never want to walk away from an opportunity to do something that shows that you have actually accomplished something, when you go into a situation like a job opportunity; you have to check off whether you have a degree or some college,” Dr. Matthew Domas, vice president of Educational Affairs, said.
