On Oct. 29, Northwest held their first annual Zombie Color Run on the Senatobia campus in celebration of Halloween. The run took place at the ROC at 5 p.m.
Students were dressed in costumes ranging from zombies, fairies, bunnies to state troopers. Students started at the ROC and ran to the back of the campus towards the softball field. They ran around the field to the parking lot of the coliseum and all the way to back.
As students raced to get to the finish line, chalk paint was thrown on each student.
“It was a great way to celebrate Halloween and to relieve some stress from school work and tests, Treaisa Franklin, a freshman studying paralegal technology,” said. “I think more than likely the paint throwing and having so many colors on you and exercising was the best part.”
